Resolved Question: Are any aromatherapy baths safe while pregnant?

I know chamomile teas and lavender oil are not for use by pregnant ladies. I’m 34 weeks (-not- high risk) and stressing out and was wondering if any aromatherapy bubble bath products are safe for use while pregnant? It’s too late to call my doctor so I was just wondering if you used anything that was cleared by your doctors.

Resolved Question: Are any aromatherapy bath products safe to use while pregnant?

I’m 34 weeks pregnant and need some stress relief. I went to drink some chamomile tea the other day and read that it’s dangerous for pregnant women. I also bought some lavender oil to put in my bath but read that was dangerous for pregnancy too.

Are all aromatherapy bath products a no no during pregnancy? Even Spearmint and eucalyptus? Have any of you used any aromatherapy that was approved by your doc?

Resolved Question: Rate my competitive pokemon team?

This team is meant primarily for the UU environment.

Crobat@??? (any suggestions?)
Hasty Nature (I’m sorry, it was taking forever to get the Impish nature I was aiming for, so I settled for Hasty xD)
252 Speed/ 104 HP/ 152 Attack
Brave Bird
U-Turn
Taunt
Roost

Completely unimaginative set, I know, but it works really well, so why should I change it? Crobat’s main purpose is to get there first and Taunt to stop the opponent from setting up on me. If I think I can bully it a bit, I’ll stay in and Brave Bird it, but most of the time, I’ll U-Turn out to Bastiodon from here.

Bastiodon@Leftovers
252 HP/ 228 Defence/ 28 Special Defence
Relaxed nature
Metal Burst
Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
Curse
Most of this whole set works so fluidly together t’s unbelievable. Usually, Crobat’ll U-Turn out to Bastiodon who’ll fire off Metal Bursts like a lunatic and take down without any problems. For anyone who doesn’t know how Metal Burst works, it’s basically like Mirror Coat and Counter, except it doesn’t matter whether it’s physical or special. It working, however, depends on the users speed. The user must move last or the move will fail. Bastiodon being a slow thing, it works well. If the other Pokémon is STLL slower, I’ll curse to increase defence and attack as well as decreasing my speed. The lower my speed, the better Gyro Ball works and more likely I’ll hit things with Metal Burst. If Crobat taunted the wrong guy and got a Ground type or Fighting type, he’ll switch to Espeon who can Wish and ensure Bastiodon’s recovery. Bastiodon kicks ass, end of.

Shaymin@Leftovers
Quirky nature (certainly not the nature I wanted, since this nature does nothing, but it’s hard with legendary Pokémon to get the right nature)
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Speed
Grass Knot
Rest
Leech Seed
Aromatherapy
Having both Wish and Aromatherapy on my team is a major plus. Shaymin sticks around for quite a while. I used a PP Max on Grass Knot to ensure I have enough PP for long battles which it will inevitably have to partake in. Rest is good with Shaymin’s Natural Cure. All it has to do is switch out and back in again, and it has a free recovery. In fact, it might be okay for it to stick around whilst it’s asleep. It’ll still have Leech Seed and Leftovers recovery and it gives me an oppurtunity to wear down the opponents PP without wearing down mine. Not sure I wanna risk being set up on though =/

Absol@Scope Lens
Adamant nature
252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 4 HP
Night Slash
Psycho Cut
Superpower
Swords Dance
Yupyup, another unimaginative set. But one that works. Scope Lens + Super Luck + High critical hit rate of most of absols attacks + 130 base attack stat + Swords Dance = a tonne of free KO’s. Night Slash for STAB, Psycho cut for fighting types and Superpower for other dark types.

Mismagius@Life Orb
Timid nature
48 HP/ 252 Speed/ 208 Special Attack
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Pain Split
3 resistances, Pain Split, base 105 special defence and a few HP EV’s should hopefully ensure a few Calm mind boosts. From there, let the sweeping begin! Generally, most Mismagius’ run Hidden power Fighting instead of Thunderbolt, but my team needed a Thunderbolt and I find getting the right Hidden Power a pain. Also, I didn’t want the speed drop.

Espeon@Leftovers
Timid nature
252 HP/ 40 Special Defence/ 216 Speed
Baton Pass
Wish
Psychic
Substitute
I was unsure about Espeon, this was my least certain member. But, I need something that can use a strong Psychic and I need a Wisher. I am especially unsure about the last slot. Substitute would be good for Shaymin, who can then SubSeed, but Calm Mind could be passed to Bastiodon and would increase Psychic’s power, although I already have a Calm Mind on the team. The other three moves are secure, without a doubt. Any opinions on the last slot?

There. Done. All Lv. 100, as standard, so I felt I didn’t need to mention that.

Resolved Question: What is a Healthy Alternative to Incense? I Learned it Causes Cancer?

I was excited bc I bought incense today, tried it, and love it. However, I learned that it causes lung cancer and respiratory disease.

What other aromatherapy things can I use? What about those oil things which you stick sticks into a jar? Do those have the same fragrance power as incense?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incense

Incense smoke contains various contaminants including gaseous pollutants, such as carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) [4–8], and absorbed toxic pollutants (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and toxic metals). The solid particles range between ~10 and 500 nm. The emission rate decreases in the row Indian sandalwood > Japanese aloeswood > Taiwanese aloeswood > smokeless sandalwood.[10] There is no question that those contaminants are carcinogenic and can cause respiratory diseases, but the risk of those depends on the exposure.
