I’ve been hooked on the Origins brand for years, and I’ve used only their brand of massage oils, because of the aromatherapy factor. I enjoyed the citrus scents for times when a massage needed to be energizing, and the organic oil with the sleep-inducing scent for times when a massage needed to be absolutely relaxing.

Now that I have 6 months or less of Origins massage oils left, and they have been discontinued, I thought I’d better ask around to see what else out there is good.

I’d love to hear what brands and types you like the best. Any input is appreciated. Thank you

Hi!

I’ve been doing my research into aromatherapy oils and I want to make myself an “aphrodisiac perfume”, as an experiment more than anything!
The pure essential oils I bought are: sandalwood, ylang ylang, jasmine, cinnamon leaf oil, & vanilla.
I’ve read that the 1st three are the main aphrodisiacs, men just like the other 2…If i mix some of them in a perfume, would it lower the aphrodisiac effects do you think?? i.e if vanilla and sandalwood are mixed say, the smell might be kind of confused, so it wouldn’t be an aphrodisiac, or would it enhance the effect?
Does anyone have any tips on how I can use these oils in a perfume? Some recipes maybe.
