Voting Question: Does anyone think this luxury dog culture is really hilariously stupid?

I’m starting to get jealous of our dog!

She hired this pet nutritionist because she’s unhappy with the kibble breath. So now she feeds him a pet nutritionist prescribed home-cooked meal plan. They charge you sh?t load of money each time you visit them as well as a opening account fee. I was amazed companies like this even existed.

And she came home yesterday with 2 Juicy Couture cashmere sweaters for him because it’s getting chilly outside at night, and she doesn’t want him to catch a cold. And I saw the receipt for the sweaters, they were 90 dollars each. Why does a dog need cashmere sweaters anyway? They have their own fur coat they were born with.

AND did you know there’s a cable TV channel for your dogs? We pay $18/m for it. -_- it’s the stupidest thing ever, basically, it just has videos of dogs running around happily and it’s supposed to be a channel for your pet dog so you can have it on when you are leaving the house.

She spends $155 every time at the groomer’s salon, and she gets mad at me for going to a salon for a blow out before parties. Maybe the groomer charges a lot because he’s a poodle, but still, I mean, does a dog really need “conditioning manicure” and aromatherapy sessions? My mom insists Henrii (YES, double i’s) attends the sessions once every 2 months. And this salon has “Mommy and I” package where the owner and the dog gets salon treatment together. O M G

I’m sorry, but if she loves her dog so much, she should just walk and play with her dog more at the PARK, not at a salon. Henrii probably gets to scared and depressed at those salons and in those thick cashmere sweaters!
Well… my mom had me and my sister, so she has had kids before.

i guess she wanted a son? but that’s besides the point! The fact that these places exist must mean there are lots of other people like her on this planet!

Resolved Question: Really bad period pains?

Hiya, I highly doubt I’m going to get anything new out of this… but I figured I’d try and hope for the best (:

It’s horrific. Honestly, it’s not just me being a sissy.. it’s much worse than any time I’ve ever gotten food poisoning, or sick… it’s probably one of the worst pains i’ve ever felt in my life.
I get headaches, horrible nausea, and *really* bad cramps. I get stuck in the tub (I take baths when it gets bad, for the hot water), for hours because I’m not able to stand up or walk due to the pain.

Pain killers (such as ibuprofen), don’t work. Neither does peppermint, or protein… I use heat a lot (either taking a hot bath, or applying a hot pack), which helps a little. Midol doesn’t work, nor exercise (most of the time that’s not any sort of option either). I’ve tried aromatherapy, changing my diet before/during my period to leave out caffeine (which I’ve heard can aggravate cramps), and large amounts of sugar or salt. I’ve tried teas, different natural remedies, like putting blackstrap molasses in water with some honey to make a tea, which does help a little with cramps/feeling weak/iron/calcium deficiency from losing blood, but doesn’t help now that the pain is getting worse.

I’m also taking oral contraceptives to help with lighter/shorter periods, but that hasn’t helped either. The good thing about them is that im taking a kind which is safe to control periods with, so I only have a period every 3 months now…

The problem is, even with this the pain is unbearable, and i’m unable to function enough to go to work, do anything mentally, or really do much of anything besides wait it out.

Do you have any ideas or things I haven’t tried? I’d really appreciate it… right now the people close to me are worried I might have Endemetriosis…which I don’t really want to think about.

Thanks…and i’m sorry for writing so much. =)
Yes, you put a teaspoon or more of blackstrap molasses in hot-warm water. If you don’t like the bitterness, you can add honey. It makes a tea by itself, really..not literally, but not sure what else you could call it (:

Blackstrap molasses is full of calcium, and iron… and you lose a lot of iron with blood, so it helps so you don’t feel so weak/lightheaded from blood loss.

It’s also really good for growing pains because of the calcium… (:
