Open Question: how do I get my cat to stop pissing on the wall?

my 9.5 year old female cat won’t stop pissing on the wall. I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried puppy pads, pheromes, aromatherapy, enzymes, and even a cat physcic. She doesn’t have a bladder infection but she has every symtom of one. I just want a solution to the problem. Any ideas?

Open Question: Can anyone tell me what it’s like to be a spa practitioner?

Backstory: I’ve been kicking ass and taking names in my career, but the long hours (70+ hour weeks) and high stress are starting to get to me. I miss spending time with family and friends, I’m always sick and I never see my husband. Now that we’re starting to talk about having kids, I’m realizing that my current career path just isn’t going to mesh with motherhood. It’s been a hard choice because I do love my current career, but I’m craving something more relaxed, something where I can make my own hours.

After doing a bunch of looking around, being a spa practitioner (specifically relaxation massage, reflexology, aromatherapy) sounds like it may be what I’m looking for. Being in a soothing, relaxing environment all day sounds fantastic, as does the chance to be a positive influence in people’s lives. I also have a strong desire to run my own business, which seems like it could be a good possibility once I get some experience under my belt. There’s a great college here where I could train, and a wealth of career opportunities.

That being said, every job has its downsides & stresses. So, I’d like to ask here to get a first-hand glimpse into what it’s like to be a spa practitioner. What is your focus? What do you like about your job? What do you hate about it? Any advice you could give to someone who’s interested in it as a career? Is it a career you could see yourself doing until retirement? If you’re a parent, do you find it meshes well with parenthood?

Thanks for your help! I appreciate any insight you can offer.

Open Question: Please rate my rain dance team! 10 points?

Articuno w/ Damp Rock – U-turn, Rain dance, Ice Beam, Roost – Pressure – Calm nature
My Lead pokemon that sets up RD. U-turn is for checking other pokemon leads. STAB Ice Beam is for hitting opponents later, and Roost for recovery. Damp Rock is for 8 turns of RD

Kabutops – Swords Dance, Waterfall, Stone Edge, X-Scissor – Swift Swim – Adamant
Physical Attacker. Swords Dance to boost his attack. Waterfall and Stone Edge for STAB, X-Scissor for coverage. Swift Swim is for a Speed boost in the rain.

Kingdra – Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Ice Beam, Outrage – Swift Swim – Lonely
Dragon Dance to boost Speed and Attack to abuse STAB Waterfall and Outrage. Ice Beam is for hitting Dragonite, Salamence and Flygon hard. I have Speed boost in the rain thanks to Swift Swim. I chose a Lonely nature over Adamant so Kingdra won’t be hitting a weaker Ice Beam.

Bronzong w/ Damp Rock – Explosion, Rain Dance, Earthquake, Light Screen – Levitate – Impish
My other Rain Dancer. His defenses will guarantee me a RD setup anyday. Explosion and Earthquake for some offense. I picked Light Screen over Reflect since most of the attacks that hurt my RD team are special-based, anyway. I chose Impish nature for more defense.

Blissey – Wish, Seismic Toss, Thunder Wave, Aromatherapy – Natural Cure – Bold
My cleric. Aromatherapy is for opponents who try to status my attackers. Thunder Wave is to slow down opponents. Useful when RD isn’t there, since my attackers are slow. Seismic Toss is to dish out damage. Wish is for healing my team who don’t have recovery. I chose Bold nature so i can at least boost her screwed-up defense.

Swampert w/ Chesto Berry – Rest, Avalanche, Earthquake, Curse – Torrent – Careful
Curse boosts his Attack and Defense while dropping his pathetic Speed. Earthquake is mandatory STAB, while Avalanche hits anything Earthquake can’t hit. Rest, paired with Chesto Berry is instant recovery when needed, but it’s only for one time use only.

Other Pokemon worth considering:

Lanturn – Thunder, Ice Beam, Surf, Confuse Ray – Volt Absorb – Calm
Like its teaamates, it abuses the rain too. An accurate STAB Thunder with a bonus of a paralysis to slow down faster would-be sweepers, STAB Surf and Ice Beam to round up the coverage. Confuse Ray is to buy me a free turn if i’m lucky, and i wouldn’t need Thunder Wave anyway because of Thunder. He’s also bait for STAB Electric attacks, since its ability Volt Absorb heals him instead of hurting him.

Gyarados – Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Taunt, Bounce – Intimidate – Adamant
Gyarados’s Taunt prevents foes from setting up, and Dragon Dance boosts its STAB Waterfall and Bounce attacks. Waterfall hurts a lot in the rain, and the paralysis bonus of Bounce helps it outspeed more Pokemon, which is useful when RD isn’t set up.

MIlotic – Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, Hidden Power Electric – Marvel Scale – Bold
The bulky Water Pokemon. Her defenses are plain awesome, coming from base 95 HP, 125 SpD and 79 Defense, with an ability that gives her a free defense boost when statused. It’s an advantage in many ways: when she gets burned, it doesn’t affect her attacking skills; paralysis doesn’t bother her either, cause she isn’t exactly fast. Ice Beam and STAB Surf gives her some offensive power, and Recover lets her stay longer.
